These were purchased from a supplier who stocks very high quality material. In fact he claims to supply David Yurman & Tiffany with some of their stones!  What made me stop by their booth was due to these beautiful Peruvian Blue Opal.  In fact,  judging by the color I thought they were Paraiba Tourmaline!   They turned out to be Opal which made it a little more affordable so I stocked several amazing examples.  This is an AAA-grade strand measuring 4.15x5.8 to 6.75x9.85 mm,  21 pcs., 15.86 carats.  Actual strand shown. These are just wonderful sparkling beads of Gem Tourmaline.  Each bead is actually a cut gemstone just like the ones you've seen in high end jewelry, except these have been drilled as beads.  The strand is temporarily strung and includes a focal piece, so you can just follow the same design and restring it for your own use. These are quite rare and hard to find - large pendant-sized Watermelon Tourmaline Slices with wonderful coloring!  These were originally just plain slices but we had them specially drilled from front to back (through the thickness) so that it's easier for you to use as a pendant. Relatively clean quality considering the sheer size of these.
