Some of you may be curious on how to use these clasps so here's a quick tutorial. These are especially made for lariat-type necklaces. One end of the necklace is attached to a closed ring of the clasp (see right photo). The back of the clasp is a round lever which you open and close around the gap between beads. The lever is magnetic so it actually secures the necklace quite well. Since the lever has a certain diameter, it is best to use these with beads at least 5.5 mm in size.

Note: Our matte toggles open and close by sliding through the small groove present on each piece. An opening is present at the side as shown in the photo above where you can attach your jump ring or wire. We've also tried using these toggles without attaching them to the opening (as shown in our maille bracelet), thus allowing them to move a bit and this worked equally well. We used a thicker wire (18G) to loop through the clasp directly.
