I thought these doublets are a very good imitation of fine Columbian Emeralds, they even half the inclusions to make it realistic! Actually the top layer is crystal quartz, the bottom layer is white topaz and in between there is a green film to give it that amazing color so if you look at it from the side you can see the distinct layers. But looking at them from the front and they are no different from expensive emeralds! Large piece measures 11.05x11.05x6.55 mm and the smaller pair measures 8x8x5.1 mm. Total of 12.95 carats. Emeralds are faceted into sparkly rondelles measuring from 4.5x3 mm to 12x7 mm (the largest bead on the bottom strand)!!! These are not thin rondelles either, each bead has considerable width to them!
